Gophers Non Conference Opponents Next Year

I don't why I'm think about this today but do we have an idea of who we're playing?

I know we go to Puerto Rico..

Are we playing Sienna?

And I saw that Shooter mentioned Wofford is playing here like Nov12th or so.

Any others?

Seton Hall (site TBD) -- this was reported by Andy Katz via Hall coach Bobby Gonzalez.

Both Siena (MAAC champ) and Wofford (SoCon regular season champ) alone would be better than anything we scheduled at home this season. Throw in an ACC opponent and Seton Hall (perhaps even at the Target Center) and that's a nice start to the home schedule.

Just a hunch: we'll replace (or add to) South Dakota State with UND or USD to help out another regional school. Hopefully it would be USD. Not as big of a RPI killer as the Fighting Sioux.

I saw the Wofford game in the paper the other day as well. I didn't think the Gophers would play UND until the mascot thing was resolved though.

Not certain, but according to my father (a Grand Forks Central grad & UND supporter) the nickname thing should be resolved by then. There's some haggling going on with one of the Indian tribes. I think one has OK'd the use of Fighting Sioux, another one hasn't.
