Up two spots from 11th in latest AP poll.

They are also 9th in the coaches poll.

Still don't understand how Florida is ahead of us. Their best win is Auburn. That's it

How does Florida jump ahead of us during a bye week?

Don't know....don't care. It is November 24th and we are ranked in the top 10 with a game coming up Saturday for the Big Ten West title and the Axe. Could give a crap about the resumes of the teams around us or if they should or should not be ranked ahead of us. The rankings will sort themselves out at the end of the season....

Keep the Axe in Minnesota where it belongs and let's keep this dream season going all the way to Indy.

Michigan, PSU and Wisconsin all with two losses. Michigan ranked ahead of both PSU and Wisconsin. Michigan's two losses are PSU and Wisconsin.

Florida didn’t jump us. They were one spot ahead of us in the AP last week as well. I guess our win over Northwestern wasn’t enough for us to jump them.

Most of the posters here don't care about head-to-head, so I think you're barking up the wrong tree.

Yeah. Makes you wonder what in hell the writers are thinking. Especially placing Michigan in front of PSU who not only won head to head but who's only losses were to the AP #2 and #9 teams.

That is hilarious.

That Wolverine win over Notre Dame, ‘doh. Very impressive. Penn State’s best win was over an overrated #10 Michigan! It all makes sense. Quality losses. Did you hear Josh Gattis coached at Alabama?

Michigan getting love in the polls is as American as apple pie.

In the AP and Coaches, when we lost to Iowa they both dropped us down to #11, behind 2-loss Florida. This week, they simply slid everyone up corresponding to the PSU and Oregon losses.

CFP however, did not drop us behind Florida after the Iowa loss.

I do expect CFP to follow the trend of simply sliding teams up, though. There seems to be a pretty strong aversion to jumping teams that won by other teams that won, late in the season.
