There is going to be a lot of crying about travel and game times this offseason.

Rutgers playing a 11pm game in California.
Washington 9am at Indiana
UCLA travels to Rutgers for a 9am game this week.

Just to list a few.

I think I saw that teams are 3-10 in traveling 2+ time zones.

That's a BS stat though.

We upset USC, and Oregon "upset" Ohio State ... otherwise the favorite won every one of those games.
Not sure it's BS. The two games you reference were not extreme game times. I'd say the time of game is more cause for concern than the travel.

I'd argue that 7 of these games flip winners if the other team travels.

  • No. 18 Indiana winning at UCLA 42-13 on Sept. 14.
  • Northwestern losing at Washington 24-5 on Sept. 21.
  • USC losing 27-24 at No. 24 Michigan on Sept. 21.
  • Washington losing 21-18 at Rutgers on Sept. 27.
  • Wisconsin losing at USC 38-21 on Sept. 28.
  • Michigan State losing 31-10 at No. 3 Oregon on Oct. 4.
  • UCLA losing at No. 4 Penn State 27-11 on Oct. 5.
  • USC losing 24-17 at Minnesota on Oct. 5.
  • Michigan losing to Washington 27-17 on Oct. 5.
  • tOSU losing at Oregon
  • Washington losing at Iowa
  • PSU winning at USC
