SP+ considers Michigan to be the #5 defense in the country and believes that an average offense will score ~13.1 points against the Michigan defense.
Minnesota out-gained Michigan 296-241 and gained 20 first downs to Michigan's 15.
As odd as this is, Vegas is going to come away from this game liking the Gophers more than they did before the game, and from a purely statistical perspective, the 'predictive analytics' will likely give the Gophers a slight bump because of it.
We could see the highest O/U the Gophers have had in recent memory for this game against USC.
