27th total defense; 102nd total offense! With one game left, the defense shouldn't change much - so that is an improvement over recent years, something positive. We did play Nebraska, Michigan and Wisconsin - good offensive teams.

The Defense has been a definite positive this year and played better overall than in years past but we are still in the bottom half of the conference and 2 of the 3 teams we don't play (OSU and PSU) are #1 and #2 in scoring offense this season. Some definite baby steps forward this season but as we are all aware there is a long way to go.
