Anyone know if ESPN News is one of the WatchESPN.com channels? If so, you can watch on a tablet or cast it to your Tv (buy a $35 Google Chromecast dongle)Oh, great - another game on a channel my cable system doesn't carry. Looks like I'm stuck listening to Mike Grimm and/or following the 'gametracker' on ESPN for stats.

i am sure your cable system carries the channel, i assume you mean you don't subscribe to the channel?
Until the university changes its stance on honoring the 9/11 victims I'll never watch or go to anther game. Or give another nickel to them. How embarrassing !!! Who are these people running our school ?

I'm curious what the University's stance is on honoring 9/11 victims, and how it someone would be that upset about it.

Someone was watching The O'Reilly Factor on FNC tonight weren't they? Dude, not trying to hate on you here, but do some research before you post on this kind of stuff. That was the Student Senate who voted that way on a Student Senate resolution that was presented to the Student Senate. It had nothing to do with any official business of the University. The U of M itself, including Pres. Kaler, are in favor of the resolution to annually recognize 9/11 and the victims.
P.S. Sounds like it will be voted on again by the Student Senate and this time will pass. The initial vote on the resolution presented to officially honor 9/11 annually was kind of taken hostage by some liberal idiot student senators, and some Diversity and Inclusion director knob, on the senate the fist time around. Claiming that doing so would alienate Muslim students on campus and single them out for possible threats. Which I think it silly...but hey who am I? Sounds like those dissenting students on the senate are realizing the mistake they made in voting this down initially and it will be voted on again at their next student senate meeting and is expected to pass.

Wait a second- the Minnesota student senate voted AGAINST annually honoring the victims of 9/11? That's one of the dumbest things I think I've ever heard.

Technically, you are correct. I live in a city that has its own municipal cable system. In order to get ESPN News, I would have to upgrade to a higher-tier package for another $20 a month - and I'm not willing to shell out $20 a month to watch one or two games. I'm already paying $160 a month for cable TV and internet access - but they throw in a land line for free. Oh, goodie.
