Is 80 the defensive win line for the Gophers tonight? If Wash can get into a run and gun, Gophers will get careless and staying close would be a challenge. If the Gophers play good D against the 3, EE can stay out of foul trouble and we slow down Wash, they can be husked. This is a great match-up of contrasting styles. Go Gophers!!!

80? If we don't hold them well under 80 we lose!

That's my point. We MUST hold them under 80 - rampaging fever through my household of little ones so if I wasn't clear on that sorry. the defensive line may actually be 75. Go Gophs.

I think we need to hold them under 72. We will see. It is hard to say how the Gophers will come out offensively. I know the Pac-12 isn't known for their defense, so it will be interesting to see how our players react on the offensive end. Our defense and slower pace of game should be able to hold them under 80 fairly easy.

Gophs really need a big rebounding game from EE (and Rodney) and defense on the perimeter from the guards to hold down that 'west coast' party time offense. Wash wants to put on some SHOWTIME.

UDub is used to putting up casual uncontested threes and when forced to earn it, they struggle. Keep grinding Minnesota, defensive rbounds leading to fastbreaks the MN way.
