Go Gophers!!

Dannng, that's +1,000 from yesterday's GL update. Definitely haven't slowed down yet. Really great news, and makes me feel like we will sell our 9k allotment.

About where I'd expect us to be. As long as we sell our allotment, I'll be happy - there will be plenty of other Gopher fans in attendance who bought through other sources.

2 mins (my max amount of time caring) of interneting tells me that last year as of Dec 17th South Carolina had sold 9,000 of their 12,500 allotment. Seeing how those guys are only 5-6 hours away and don't have to worry about airfare I'd say we're doing pretty good as I guess we'll sell at least another 1-2k in the next 6 days

also I expect there to be a lot of other Gopher fans that don't buy from the specified allotment

Lots of expats and retirees in Florida or have Florida winter homes. Great location for us to have a sellout. I think the same would happen if the Gophers ever got here to the Fiesta. I'll be in Orlando Jan. 1!

Question about the allotment...

Does that include the band and admin tickets?

Fantastic news. Can't wait for January 1st. Wish I could be there.

can this thread be combined with other relating to the number of tickets officially reported?

I'm guessing, based on the language used ("sold"), it does not include the band and administration. Those tickets are usually set aside and counted as tickets "distributed."

If they hit the 9,000 mark early, do they generally get another couple thousand to sell? Or do they just leave it at that and you have to purchase your tix through ticketmaster/stubhub after that?

Teague has said we will get more tickets from the bowl should we sell through our 9,000.

Earlier today it seemed they were slightly behind us (still groups of 10 tickets available on the Plaza Level in the red zone).
