Oh my goodness, a football game on a sunny day in mid to upper 50 degree weather in October. Whatever are we going to do? People may have to eat their young just to survive it on Saturday. Going to be in the 50's in most of B1G country on Saturday. Sarcasm laid on extra heavy.
Station19, Iceland or Dr. Don to respond in.........3.......2.........1
I realize it will get colder, and perhaps even miserable in November. However, upper 40s and lower 50s is anything but pleasant. The pleasant afternoons are leaving quickly in Minnesota.
As long as it isn't windy, I'd take sunny and 50's over sunny in the 70's in a heartbeat when tailgating and watching a game.
FYI, the average high on Oct. 11 is 58 in Minneapolis.
70s is beautiful in my opinion, but I could be the minority.
And 58 may be the average high at 4PM. But it's upper 40s through the first half of an 11am start.
It got hot in the first half of the SJSU game for me. But we were in the upper deck bleachers near the student section so the sun on the empty bleachers may have made it warmer. I just love hooded sweatshirt and jeans weather for football.
I'm just like my old man I guess, I'd have the windows open until the snow flies if it weren't for my wife.
