Gophers' game at Colorado State will start at 2:30 CT and air on CBS Sports Network

CBS Sports Network = Comcast HD channel 871 in Minneapolis/Golden Valley area. CBSSN part of a sports package that costs about $10 per month, also includes NBC Sports Network, MLB Network, NHL Network, NBATV, 3 Fox College Sports channels, and the Pac 12 Network.

Awesome, so I'll be watching in a bar.

this sucks. yet another reason to make a trip out to Denver this yr.

Where you will end up spending FAR more than the $7 it costs to add the sports tier, or likely even less if you add and then cancel the sports tier/channel to your service (it is prorated based on how long you add it).

Just saying before someone comes on here and starts with clueless ranting about it being on CBS Sports Network (i.e. The home team CSU's conference network. Home team has TV rights).

This is missed by so many people.

ITS THE PRINCIPLE!!!!!

Watch the game and a few others as bonus and cancel at the end of the month.

When it comes to Comcast, I don't mess with my subscription because I've heard enough horror stories of people trying to downgrade their plan and having everything possible go wrong. I've got a contract and I have no doubt in my mind that if I upgraded and tried to downgrade immediately after the game, they would give me trouble and reference something about my contract being voided when I upgraded or something ridiculous.

If I was with a provider that wasn't the spawn of Satan then you bet I would upgrade and downgrade 4 hours later.

Ummm....okay. Btw - Have you put your tinfoil hat on yet and made your way into your underground bunker? Ha! ;)

I will be watching it somewhere...maybe at home, maybe on the way relocating to live with my daughter in Arizona, or at my daughter's in Arizona.

GO GOPHERS!!!

Great! Time for some tailgaiting enjoying a few fresh New Belguims!

Still some pretty good deals for airfare to Denver. $134 round trip, Minneapolis to Denver. 2:00 PM flight on Spirit Airlines on Friday to Denver, 6:17 AM return trip out of Denver on Frontier Airlines on Sunday.

You may have to get out halfway to push the plane, but it's a good price. Pretty good destination too, I am really looking forward to seeing mountains.

If you fly on mega bus air, just make sure you wear all your clothes on the plane and stuff your pockets with anything you'll need for the trip (wallet, food, toothbrush, hair dryer, etc.).

You forgot the JD!

Kind of figured it would be on CBS Sports Network. Looks like I'll be upgrading my Directv package for a day. Oh well.

Damn, was hoping for an 11am game as we have a wedding to go to that day.

This CBS network is on # 158 on Dishnetwork. This network has a lot of BB and CFB games on it throughout the year and along with 159 (NBC SC) are well worth having. There are some tie ins with regular CBS and the general quality of the broadcasts, commentators and studio hosts is high. I think some NCAA BB tourney games were on CBSSN this year.

Comcast is better than it used to be, but one reason I like the Dish is the availability of MLBNetwork, NBATV, NHL, NFLN, NFL Redzone, BTN, SEC, PAC10, (even) Longhorn Network, and all the regional sports networks. I remember regular cable being much weaker years ago. For me the extra $10 is well worth it. I was able to get Aggievision on either the Denver or Phoenix regional Sports channel two years ago, and of course go back for Aggievision whenever I can.
