Indiana 6-1
Northwestern 6-1
Iowa 6-2
Minnesota 3-3

All the losers:
Wisconsin 2-3
Maryland 2-3
PSU 3-5
Rutgers 3-5
Wisconsin 2-3
Michigan 2-4
Purdue 2-4
Michigan St 2-5
Illinois 2-5
Nebraska 2-5

Not a bad year considering the rough start and challenges that were faced. Hopefully we have a good post-season with a Champions-Week win over Wisconsin and possibly a Bowl Game win as well.

Congrats to Iowa, Penn St and Rutgers for playing all 8 games scheduled.

Last time Minnesota finished above WI in the standings may have been 2003

A win Saturday would certainly make it feel more real even though I don’t technically think it impacts the conference standings.

How the hell can that many teams have losing records?

In a normal year a couple of teams have 0 or 1 conference win, which gives the middling teams more wins.

No non conference means the big ten isn’t walking in with 14 teams at 3-0 or 2-1 as a head start. The lack of bad teams (and only having below average teams) makes it tougher for the slightly above average teams to rack up wins.

The top four teams won 23 games, the other ten won 25 games.

That is pretty unbalanced. Perfect storm of cancellations to keep some of these teams down.

Yes, this is an asterisk 100% and the result Saturday will determine who has all bragging rights. The results Saturday should go in the books as the conference record other than the championship game.

A win is huge. A loss drops us below.500 and behind Wisconsin in the standings.

I think the Gophers got better this year. Lots of improvement from a handful of guys on defense. The O-line improved from Game 1 to Game 6. Some receivers got reps.

This is a weird year, I look at it as an extended preseason type of deal. Getting better, gROWing up, getting faster/stronger, adding experience. I like our roster, I really do. Some dudes have big decisions to make as to whether they graduate, grad transfer or retire from football.

I agree, I haven't put much stock in this season. Disappointed by defense, I knew they'd step back, but didn't think they'd go to disaster. If we can see continued improvement vs a struggling wisconsin offense

I do think if Wisconsin looks like a juggernaut against our Defense PJ needs to take a real look at defensive coaching staff

ST coaching needs a change, too many years it's a problem
