“The guys know they have played well,” head coach Ben Johnson said Friday. “Whether it’s home or away, they want to have that breakthrough where they know they played really well and played great. I can sense that.”

Nebraska (8-7, 1-3 Big Ten) and Minnesota were tied for last place the Big Ten a year ago, but the Cornhuskers have been better this year, pushing No. 4 Purdue to overtime before losing and beating Iowa 66-50 on Dec. 29.

“We feel like we just made a couple mistakes,” Gophers forward Josh Ola-Joseph said about the loss to the Badgers. “Us going against Nebraska is really good for us because our team is united. We’re still hungry.”

Go Gophers!!

I have a feeling we are going to pull this one out. I will be very disappointed though if we see another TO situation like we had against Wisconsin. Simply can’t win if you do not take care of the ball.
