True, Gophers have never had two 9 win seasons in a row.

30 minutes away from history!

Averaging almost 10 wins a season across the last 3 fully scheduled seasons. Pretty great.

This is not true. They had 2 nine wins season in 1901 and 1902. Plus 9 or more wins in 03, 04, 05. That was when they were in the Western Conference.

They never did this when they were in the Big Ten.
The Western Conference was the first name of The Big 10 making the founding year 1896.

Think about that, we've won 9+ games in 3 of the last 4 years and a lot of us are still disappointed. PJ has really raised the bar in Dinkytown.
Yes! Some people have such convenient stretches of memory loss that you'd think this program has been doing nothing more than spinning its wheels since PJ's gotten here, especially after a loss. Yeah the losses suck but the overall body of work over several years now is so much better than we've had in recent history, and for a lot of us in our lifetimes. I won't discount Mason's and Kill's successes, but PJ is showing he's at least one level above the both of them and possibly a lot more levels above that. This guy is still super young in the coaching world.
