41 Big Ten players going, but only Minnesota and Northwestern has 0. No other Big Ten team has fewer than 2.

That's too bad. Hopefully Alford, Wills and others will have an opportunity to impress at Pro Days or private workouts.

Bit off topic but I don't remember seeing any thread on how Weber did at the Eastham Energy all star game. Believe he ran for two TD's in that game. Apparently he wasn't very impressive?

Weber went 17 of 34 for 163 and an INT. He also ran 7 times for 24 yards and 2 TDs.

Obviously, Minnesota needs more 5 Star recruits.

This year represents the end of Mason's poor recruiting and the whole that was created from the coaching change (Mason to Brewster) for a team like Minnesota it probably isn't that surprising that this class didn't produce any combine level players. I'm a little surprised that Weber didn't get a chance at the combine.

If you were paying attention, you would know that the redshirt seniors in the graduating class (2006) made up one of the lowest rated Gopher classes. So, yeah, we do need to recruit better than that.
