Anyone thinking they are not is delusional. They are #16 in the Pomeroy ratings. I know for a fact the committee takes takes the Pomeroy into consideration. It emphasizes recent play.

They have OSU winning today 69-67.

BTW, check out the Gophers' LUCK ranking (#307)....it's pretty obvious that they've had a lot of bad luck this year in terms of close losses...and yet even if that were to be considered out (which it should not, if the Selection Committee knows what it's doing), the Gophers' resume is still better than that of most of those bubble teams, after their BTT performance.
 







That's an interesting rating. It make sense--the way the Gophers are playing they would be ranked right about there, certainly a top 20 team. If they beat Ohio State maybe even drifting down more and in terms of seeding a 1-8 seed in their region. Perhaps the question now regarding Big 10 teams is whether or not Illinois gets in...
 





Interesting, Pomeroy predicts a 74-73 loss to Xavier. So basically a tossup, which is pretty much what this game is IMO.
