As impressive as the 6-2 record is, it wouldn't have taken much to turn those two losses into wins. I was at the MSU game last year and we went toe-to-toe on the road against a very good Sparty team 14-3. In the 20-7 loss to Wisky the Gophers had a second quarter lead and were a play or two away from having a chance to win that game. It takes a while to change the culture, but we're starting to believe we can do this, I think.

This is a lot of fun. No reason to suspect it's only a fluke either. Kill's strategy of turning a program around should produce long-term success as well.
