Go Gophers!!

Interesting teams are Michigan and Wichita State, each at 50/1

So...you're telling me there's a chance?

I want to say it'd be awfully risky to put any money down on North Carolina with the pending NCAA stuff they have going on, but I think we all know how that's going to end.

Think the NCAA hit Syracuse pretty hard. Can the NCAA hit UNC as hard as they hit Syracuse?

3 or 4 years from now they might. I think it's encouraging that we have better odds than Stanford(won NIT), Alabama, KState and Tennessee. Usually Vegas is pretty good at setting these, which means they have a higher opinion of us than I do(or Minnesotans bet more than the other fan base's and they want to limit their liability).

Surprising

I think we COULD be better than a lot of people think we will be on here, but 100 to 1 seems off to me. If we got Boucher, Ellison and Mulder..then ya. I think Richard can coach but Vegas must "really" think he can coach. We are picked 11th in the Big Ten afterall.

100-1?

Well we haven't won the title in at least 100 years.

Means we will win it this year. You old farts have to give up this eye test crap. Get on board with
modern analytics and probabilities.

We did in the 1918-19 season. We haven't won an NCAA tournament in the last 100 years is a more accurate statement.

Gophers Winning the NCAA in 2016 will not happen

But, a better question to fight over....what are the odds we make the ncca tournament in 2016?
100 to 1, and I'd bet...that's too good to pass up... but what would be accurate?
Again, the spring recruits make a huge difference...right now maybe we are 100 to 1 to make the NCAA in 2016 but add 3 very nice prospects who can score or rebound or shut down an elite player and maybe it's
3 to 1? pretty big gap based on who the additions are...

I don't think I would take 100 to 1 to win the NCAA, but I would be all over 100 to 1 to make it if you gave me those odds.

Agree.

Just for the simple fact the Gophers are in the Big Ten, which annually gets 5-7 bids, makes it a no-brainer to take them 100-1 to make the NCAA. Anything less than 25-1 I'd have to think about. The only 2 Big Ten teams for next season that I wouldn't take the 100-1 bet are Penn State and Rutgers. Everyone else, Gophers, Northwestern, and Nebraska (if Petteway comes back) included, would be worth the flyer.
