I wonder how much the "line" will change if coach can't be on the sidelines? I was glad to see the weather for Saturday is for much cooler temperatures.

Interesting.

Game opened up at Gophers (-1.5) and has climbed to (-3.5). Apparently the experts think the Gophers will rebound well from the NMSU game.

I'm not touching this game with a 10-foot pole. No clue what kind of Gophers team will show up on Saturday. Interesting that Miami will have had two weeks to prepare for this one after a bye week.

Experienced QB for Miami, appears to be a 3rd year starter. I seem to recall them losing a lot of players to graduation last year but I might be wrong.

Agree Ogee. My good golfing buddy in Vegas who bets only on college football said this game has the plague tatooed all over it. He took a bath on the Gopher game last week. He thought 23 points was really safe. he did cleanup on the USC game though. I thought this was interesting. He never bets on MAC conference games; to many upsets.

Did he cash his USC bet before they posted the real score 4 hours later?

I'm not a betting man, but I'd feel pretty comfortable taking Miami and the points. I think we're no better than an even bet in any game this year and could easily lose them all. However it is hard to lose all your games (even punky got a win his first year), so if we do win one, it will have to be either this week, next week or against Purdue.

I would bet the house on Miami but I don't bet against teams I cheer for.

The only consolation is that whenever I feel this way, I tend to lose the house.
