I was unable to listen to today's Sports Huddle with Tracy Claeys.

I received the following message from McAfee WebAdvissor on 'CCO's webpage: "We've tested this page and blocked content from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites." I've never had this problem before. Some commercials were aired but none of the program's content.

Hopefully someone who was able to listen to today's Tracy Claeys segment will post a recap.

I hope this pro0blem does not occur next Sunday. Again, I regret that I am unable to provide a recap of today's show.

Go Gophers!!

Go Gophers!!

No worries....Thanks for what you do week in and week out. I hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and great Holiday season !

Real-time update - it's 11:11am and Claeys has not been on the show. Apparently they called his cell phone number, and got voice mail. They were trying to contact him through other channels (Dan O'Brien?), but as I type this, Claeys has not been on.

They had Glenn Mason on for two segments reviewing how the B1G teams have fared in bowl games. Re the Gophers, Mason praised Eric Murray and BBC. He said Leidner is like a 10-handicapper in golf - some good days and some bad days. Dave Mona asked about his ball-handling, and Mason said "That's coaching."

Oh - and Mason also was laughing about the TCU comeback, because now he doesn't have the record for the biggest blown lead in a bowl game. Said his twitter account was "blowing up" after that game.

Update - 11:30am - Claeys will not be on the Sports Huddle this week. He is "out of town" and had trouble getting a cell signal, so no segment this week.

DL this is not your fault. Its not Coach Claeys, his cellphone or his service. Its C BS Minnesota. First who is the producer of The Sports Huddle, and who books the guests. With Coach Claeys on the road most probably recruiting a home visit comes first. If C BS is in touch with the U and Coach Claeys schedule they would gladly tell them where he would be and when he would be available. Its is clearly their fault.

It's a Dead Period right now, so I sure hope he's not doing in home recruiting visits :)

I think it would be interesting to interview a different assistant coach every week while it is slow.

Seems a little fishy especially for the first show right after the bowl victory but probably nothing....

These coaches need a break when they can get it.

It makes me worry too. Whenever Kill missed a show it was bad. But I'm probably overreacting.

He must have gone home for a late holiday visit with his mom.

Whatever, it still is on C BS Minnesota.

No, but he might take in a basketball game/wrestling match, etc. of a recruit. That's not unheard of...

It would be completely against the rules. Definition of a Dead Period from the NCAA:

During a dead period a college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents, and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high schools. Coaches may write and telephone student-athletes or their parents during a dead period.

I thought coaches could do that, but apparently not. Learned something new...

Maybe Coach Claeys is a master of disguise like Johnny Manziel http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...le-wearing-wig-and-fake-mustache-in-las-vegas
