I just got back from the youth clinic. I attended with my wife and 11-year old son. Here are some impressions:
- Coach Kill: What a class act! He greeted people when they arrived along with Coach Limegrover among others. Coach Kill is the real deal and we are very fortunate to have him as our coach. The staff did an excellent job.
- Players: Several of the players took groups of people on a tour of the stadium (the facilities are great). The players signed autographs and answered all sorts of questions. We had J.D. Pride and Cameron Wilson as our guides as they did great job. We met a lot of the other players and they took time to talk with fans and were very friendly (e.g., Josh Campion, Chase Haviland, etc.). Let's face it, entertaining a bunch of kids and their fossil aged parents can't be something high on the 'things-to-do-list' for a 20-year old but these guys did it with a lot of patience and class.
Thanks Coach Kill and players for making this such a fun event despite the weather.
