Gopher Christmas

Anyone ever put up a christmas tree with only gopher ornaments and maroon and gold lights? I was thinking about doing this. Share a pic of yours if you have one.

I only have a 3' tree, but it has only maroon and gold ornaments, a Goldy star, and a U of M tree skirt that I made by cutting up an old umbrella.

[Replacement Gopher]

No pic as I don't have enough ornaments yet. My wife allows me a 6 foot Vikings tree that I am going to convert to Gophers once I am gifted enough ornaments.

I only recommend it if you don't have a wife, kids, relatives, or friends. Otherwise, it might be a good thing to try one time (only).

Unless you have multiple trees. And a mother in-law who insists on giving everyone an ornament each year.

My wife wouldn't let me do this on our main tree but she did give me approval to put one up downstairs with all gopher ornaments. I was thinking of using a smaller tree to save space. I found some maroon and gold mini lights online I could use instead of white or multicolor. I need some time to get enough ornaments since I only have a few right now.
