I'm moving to Maple Grove in two weeks. Wondering what "Gopher bars" people go to watch the away games. I'm in my 30's if that matters.

i've watched a number of gopher road games at malones, a good sports bar in mg. they have good food, tons of TVs and game volume.

bww in plymouth also has a lot of gopher fans on road games.

Welcome to the Grove!! :)

Usually I watch from home so I can drop f bombs and not get odd looks. ;) Malone's is good. Wild Bill's across the street. BWW and Sunshine Factory in Plymouth (been there for Vikings but not Gophers yet)

Thanks I'll have to check them out. I found these beautiful apartments by Eagle lake so I can still escape civilization once in awhile. :) Running water and electricity are kinda scary to me. ;)

Clive's in champlin is good. Owned by the guy that used to own Sally's.

Welcome to the Grove! I'd agree on Malone's as the likely best option. 3 Squares has a solid beer selection and a decent amount of TVs in the bar area, but you'll likely find more fans at Malone's. I usually end up staying at home, since I have little kids and am at all home games.

For bigger games, I've gone down to Park Tavern in St. Louis Park with friends. There have been some solid crowds there.

Omni Brewing Company is a pretty good place out in Maple Grove they normally have football playing all day on Saturdays and have food trucks pretty much every weekend.

Malone's was our spot when I lived up there. Good food and plenty of screens.
