Good weekend showing for baseball, men's and women's track

Well, now that baseball has swept Penn State, they're in first place with one weekend to go. Hopefully the guys can keep it up next weekend in Columbus and take home a Big Ten title.

Men's track and field made a it a sweep for both indoor and outdoor Big Ten titles this weekend while the women finished just 1.5 points behind Penn State to place second. Overall a really good showing by both teams. Congrats to the track and fielders!!!!

Hopefully, baseball will add to the spring Big Ten trophy case at this time next week!!!

Hope the baseball team does well against the Buckeyes next weekend, but more importantly, they need to do well the following weekend in the Big Ten tournament. The Gophers have to win that to get to the NCAA tournament.

To bad we can't start the season over again. Our slow start this season is what killed our chances to get into the NCAA without having to get an automatic bid. Anyone can win the tournament but I like our chances the way our starting pitching is coming around.
