Good luck against the Trojans Saturday. I will actually be attending the game because I cannot afford the drive and lodging down in Arizona. Academic priorities have also hindered my ability to make that drive. I love college football and went to high school in Minnesota so I am really looking forward to my first experience in TCF Bank. Iowa will find out what kind of team they really are down in Tucson Saturday night. Here's to hoping the Gophers put on a better performance than last week!

Nice to hear from a Hawk! especially after reading all the crap from PantherHawk. I always try rooting for the Big 10 teams, but that guy really makes it tough sometimes. Thanks again, but I'm not holding my breath. :)

I have been informed on this board that he tarnishes the image of hawkeye fans everywhere. IMO, It is a positive for Iowa when Minnesota is more competitive and contending in the top half of the conference. Obviously, I want Iowa to beat Minnesota every year but I would rather beat a quality Gopher program than beat up on a program in the dumps.

appreciate the sentiment. Maybe the Gophers can pants the Pac-Ten by beating USC. The ACC and Big East are essentially already eliminated from the NC race. If the Gophers, Hawkeyes, and Badgers all win the Pac-Ten can start to slide away from the National Title race as well (although other teams, Oregon in particular will be in it till somebody beats them).

I agree 100%. Wisconsin is clearly more talented than ASU but they need to minimize mistakes. Iowa has executed at a high-level and I like their chances down in Tucson. I am confident Minnesota will perform better but not confident they will win. Let's go for 3-0!

It'd be hard NOT to perform better (at least defensively) after the performance last week. I still can't get over the massive holes in the secondary. It looked like we were playing on a soccer field.
