It would be great if it works out for him to play, but if not: What a guy... He is obviously very mature for his age. Thanks for sharing the story.
 


Whatever he decides, I'll be rooting for this dude. I lost my mother pretty young, but in college? That would have been so much to handle, and then to lose both parents...wow, I can't imagine it, I truly wish him all the best.
 


I cant even imagine. What an incredible and inspiring man! I hope him all the best in basketball and more importantly life!
 

I couldn't imagine losing both parents at that age and still finding a way to graduate college and be there for younger siblings. Great story. Really hope he decides to join the team but if not that would be very understandable.
 




If I'm not mistaken, we have a scholarship open this year. This kid should get it...end of story.
