It appears the TL;DR is:
The order that people pick their yearly benefits is still determined by score and score itself is not changing. The number of benefits you pick is determined by that year's giving.*
*Assuming I read this right....
I can understand the incentive by the U to do this, but I'll always complain that for randos who go to games: These emails and presentations seem like something someone cooked up to show the AD or President of the U, and us randos / fans have to read through this pretty webpage and figure out what is actually going on...
