Overall, with a few exceptions, this list proves it was a pretty lean decade for Gopher basketball. Give me Dusty's steady production, Vincent's junior year, Hump's 1-and-done double-double machine (like him or not, Hump was the most talented Gopher player of the decade) and Rick. I'd throw JB in there as well, even with his injury problems. He was a leader on the court in his short time here and a jack of all trades. His season-ending injury in 2000-01 absolutely destroyed the potential that season had after a great start. Monson's best coaching job was that season, in my opinion.

All of these guys did some nice things for the Gophers, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say our next all-decade team will look infinitely better than this one, both in terms of team & individual success.

That about says it all, SS. I think that may be the least impressive all-decade team in the B10. Only one direction to go in the next decade and that is UP ...way UP. With Tubby at the helm, I wouldn't bet against a significant improvement.

Our all decade team couldn't make the Sweet 16 in a given year. That is pretty sad.

It's doubtful that our all-decade team could compete with our own previous all-decade teams.
