Seriously, Isaac Fruechte wide open in the end zone. We haven't ha rain in over a month, and he slips and falls in the end zone.

I haven't let my thoughts sink in enough to make an informed analysis of the game. However, it is clear. God hates us.

He slipped because the ball was under thrown and he was reaching back for it.

Oh seriously? I was sitting in the other end zone. Looked like he just slipped. Dang.

This is a hard loss to take.

ummmm.......okay. the ball was under thrown by shortell. that is why fruechte slipped. he was trying to stop quick and cut back for an under thrown pass. it had nothing to do with rain or God my man. something tells me that college football is not one of God's top priorities. just saying. that was on shortell and a poorly thrown ball. 7 or 8 points that shortell left off the board. he was not rushed. he was not being hurried. it wasn't raining anymore. there was really no excuse for shortell the flub that pass.....other than himself.

I didn't see it on TV. In person it looked like he slipped.

I wouldn't say GOD hates us.. but will say the Football Gods do (I believe they are separate entities).

Anyway, Max doesn't impress me as being a better QB than Q. Yes, both aren't very accurate, but at least Q can make something happen with his legs. If Max had the accuracy of a REAL B1G QB, we'd probably be undefeated right now.

I'm not trying to sound like I'm hating on Max.. but until he proves me otherwise, I don't see him as a starting QB.

For sure, somebody hates us...since 1968.

that would be some of the administration and some of the faculty from 1968 until around 2000. when they completely cut the legs out from under the football program and stopped requiring it be a top flight sport at the U of M. it was expected and demanded that football be THE #1 sport at the U of M prior to the mid 1970's or so. there were a number of internal haters and academics who made their way into administrative roles and made sure that wasn't going to be the case for about 30+ years. we are just now back to where we were prior to that time (i.e. 1970's) in terms of the administration's commitment to wanting to have a winning football program and financially supporting it as such.

waiting and building it the proper way is the hardest part. but IT HAS TO BE DONE and it has to be done the right way. i think coach kill knows how to get this done the right way without cutting corners along the way.

Terrible throw. All on the QB. Easy TD = should have been.

totally agree, supadup. It takes but a short time to tear down an established program by an administration. And a long time for a supporting administration to build it back up.

Maybe we have a AMFHG?

Angry Minnesota Football Hating God?
