I think I remember columnists saying last year how good Indiana would be. I am sure they will get there eventually, but for now I'll believe it when I see it
 

Not buying Indiana yet, either. I like what I see of McCaffrey, though. I don't think Iowa will be a doormat for much longer.
 

As a former Uk fan and Purdue grad, I can't stand Crean and wish that IU would never make a comaback. Verdel Jones is also another reason that I want IU to be down again this year. He is a jerk just like Crean. Lastly, I am not sure if the player who used ralph as a ladder to dunk last year will be playing again this year. I want TM to show him how its done. Another reason that I want to kick their A$$$. So many reasons to hate IU.

Not sure IU gets back this year but it won't be that long. Pritchard is back. Have you met Crean or is this just because he's at Indiana so you hate him? Honestly, I'd take him at the U in a heartbeat from what I've seen.
 


I am not shocked if you would take him. You would take anybody at the moment since you dislike the current coaching group. No, I have not met Crean in person and it is wrong of me to say he is a jerk. I just remember the year that UK was supposed to win it all and Crean had Wade in his roster. Unfortunately, the best defender on that UK team was Bogan that played with an ankle injury. I tell you, Tubby has had some bad luck in his life. That game was one of them. The year before, Uk was # 1 in March and lost to Anderson and the crew due to a back-stabbing by Nolan Richardson. Nolan watch Uk's practice and lectured Anderson before that game. For the last 4 years, Again, Tubby has had bad luck as we all have seen it. He does wonder with his players if they follow his instructions. Stop the hate for Tubby. He will deliver this year or retire.

I would not take anybody over the current staff but there are a few for sure and Crean is one of them. However, after reading your last post I sense a "tubby apologist" theme. I don't need Smith to deliver this year. Just show progress, stop the transfers and build an identity for the future.

I'd be happy with those results for this year.
 

You can call me "tubby apologist". I have no problem with that. He has done way more than what Crean can do in his entire life if coaches that long.
