Glad to see these refs assert themselves

Lord knows...we wouldn't want this game to be about the players.

The 1st half was entirely too free-flowing and exciting. Big 10 basketball must be grind-it-out with no pace. They simply had to step in.

If they would just be consistent I'd be good with it.

This is why i can never be more then a casual basketball fan. The refs control way too much of the game. The stars get all of the calls. Dumb

Like what the announcers just said "Not sure Rodney had control of the ball in order to travel..."

Seriously...Hoff looks like he's wearing a Purdue dress the way they hold him. And what the hell was that travelling call on RW?

These refs just can't call it fair for us...are we the only team in the big ten that doesn't get calls at home?

We always get a fair game at home, but we get skimped on the home cooking sometimes compared to others. We got just enough tonight at the end.

How the hell that ref missed Hoff getting his arm grabbed on the way to the hoop with under 2 min to go is beyond me...it was right in front of him and he was looking right at it. Ugh.

While I hate the blatant missed calls...I hate the inconsistency more. Its like at random intervals throughout the game they decide to call a foul that they haven't called all night...just to make sure we know they are on the floor or something. Like that foul on Iverson when Jajuan came into the lane early in first half...they didn't call that foul ever in big ten play...but called it right then.

I love how the home fans always think it's called even, while the away fans think it's completely lopsided. And both are upset :)

That was rough. The Ohio State buzzer non call was worse.

Who cares!!!!! Great win~!

Can you honestly say you've seen more then 1 game at the Kohl Center called evenly?

I certainly haven't, but I'm not a Badger fan :D

Everything there does seem to be a bit special.

Kohl Center is the worst, but Big 10 refs give more home-cooking then any conference. I could live with that if it were consistent, but some teams (MN, NW) generally gets finger foods and certain teams, such as those in Red or black, get full buffets. In the ACC for example, this is reserved almost entirely for special friends K and Roy.
