I figure we've all probably gone back and have been watching old games. My work-from-home set up is in the living room so I've just been throwing on old games on my tv in the background. Here's what I've had since this started:
  • 2001 GMAC Bowl, Marshall vs ECU
  • 2002 National Title, Miami U vs Ohio St
  • 2003 Sun Bowl, Minnesota vs Oregon
  • 2005 National Title, Texas vs USC
  • 2006 Fiesta Bowl, Boise St vs Oklahoma
  • 2010 Rose Bowl, TCU vs Wisconsin
  • 2010 National Title, Auburn vs Oregon
  • 2011 Fiesta Bowl, Stanford vs Oklahoma St
  • 2011 Outback Bowl, Michigan St vs Georgia
  • 2011 Alamo Bowl, Baylor vs Washington
  • 2013 Rose Bowl, Michigan St vs Stanford
  • 2013 National Title, Florida St vs Auburn
  • 2014 National Semifinal, Ohio St vs Alabama
  • 2014 Cotton Bowl, Michigan St vs Baylor
  • 2015 Quick Lane Bowl, Minnesota vs Central Michigan
  • 2015 Alamo Bowl, TCU vs Oregon
  • 2016 Holiday Bowl, Minnesota vs Washington St
  • 2017 National Semifinal, Oklahoma vs Georgia
  • 2019 Outback Bowl, Minnesota vs Auburn
Also:
  • 2009 NFL, Vikings vs Packers
  • 2009 NFL, Vikings vs Bears
  • 2009 NFL, Vikings vs Bengals
  • 2009 NFL, Steelers vs Packers

I re-watched this year’s Outback Bowl last night. A few things stood out:

Coney Durr played a great game, better upon review than I had remembered thinking at the time. Of course, I was feeling a bit more stressed on Jan 1 than I was last night.

The last drive, taking up more than eight minutes, was a thing of beauty. I especially liked the rush that got the first down at the end, when the Gophers, with a fine effort, moved the entire Auburn defense about seven yards.

After the last kneel-down, in victory formation, Tanner Morgan turned around and handed the game ball to Tyler Johnson. I thought that was a very classy move.

It was funny, I was there, the scrum was pretty much right in front of me... I had almost forgot about the scrum ending the game. Was mostly remembering the TE catch.
