I stopped at Gold Country looking for a heavy duty gold stadium coat. The closest I saw was a lined jacket with a hood. I'd like to find a big assed coat that weighs about 10 pounds. Let me know what you all think. Most importantly, my gold pullover and gold stocking cap will be my outer attire. I'll be doing layers on my torso as I would if deer hunting. Then, if it is raining, I plan on putting my upper rain gear under my gold pullover. It will look a little weird as I would if deer hunting. I am torn about whether to wear long johns and water resistant boots. I will be wearing two pairs of socks and will be bringing gloves. It seems like the Goldy's Locker Room at the stadium has a lot of stuff, but I haven't spent a lot of time there. Please let me know what you think and give me advice. Go Gophers!

Why does it need to weigh 10 pounds? Are you expecting to blow away?

Actually last night I was out and about looking for rain ponchos and stuff. Goldy's Locker Room in Burnsville Center had nothing that would help me as far as the weather goes. What is the lastest prediction, rain still?

I could care less about rain. I am looking for some badass gold pants and can't find any.

I found gold (not yellow), hooded jackets at Gander Mountain on Wednesday night. They don't say Minnesota on them, but along side my gold Minnesota t-shirts the colors matched almost perfectly. They are lightweight so you'll have to layer, but I figured at least they were gold. I think I paid $40 for it, with the tag saying they are usually $55. The brand was "Red Ledge". Don't know if it is any good, but it should keep the water off.

I really liked the black ones that Goldy's had at the stadium, but I didn't really want a black jacket...

They had light duty plastic ponchos (in both gold and maroon) at Dick's sporting goods for $5. REI had very nice ponchos (in maroon but not gold) for $30. Even though its Solid Gold Saturday (and I'll probably get chastised for this here) I bought the heavy maroon poncho at REI. It packs really small and will cover your lap/knees when sitting down.

Coffman Union has some slick gold sweatpants that say Minnesota down the right leg for about 20 bucks. They won't be the warmest thing on Saturday, but I'll be yelling Wisconsin sucks so loudly I doubt the cold will affect me.
