Game notes on GS up for Maryland -- no depth chart again

Depth Chart doesn't matter in a COVID year.
He could be 100% honest with it, only to have a couple positive COVID tests on Wed-Fri then have people complain the depth chart wasn't accurate.

I find in life these days people go out of their way to feel snubbed or wronged somehow.
Evidently not having a depth chart published for a football game during a pandemic is enough to feel like someone is telling you to F-Off.

I find that a bit strange that of all the things occuring in 2020, that you feel PJ is messing up your life with a big old FU because of a depth chart for a football game.

I figure more people will agree with you/this than will agree with me. I'd still like to see them make the effort to publish it, but oh well.

I think a lot of folks figured there wouldn't be any depth charts this season.

not going to gamble on them anymore this year
Yes, horrible season to be betting on CFB. NFL is the play this year. They're required to be transparent with injuries and COVID, and they've been proactive about rescheduling games when needed.

As for depth charts, yeah it would be interesting, but I personally want Coach Fleck to do everything he can to win each game...including cloak and dagger with who's likely to be playing.

They did? Where? Who?

Never been any other season without them, no matter how contrived they were at times.

Mpls Gopher: Looks like Fleck will be giving the Gopher fan base the middle finger, all season long.

I've seen poor comments on threads. This is about as idiotic as it can get. You've lost more creditability with that comment.

To be fair, I stated this last week in the Michigan depth chart thread.

Let's see if Wisconsin releases a depth chart this week

I hate it when I loose my creditability. For all intensive purposes, that's the one thing that literally makes me shoot steam out of my ears.

You’re assuming he had any to begin with. :p

I like the depth charts early in the year so I can learn who is who easier. I find its easier to see “oh, #92 is lined up at DE, that must be _____” then to have no idea who is who. Especially with a bunch of guys wearing new #s

A depth chart isn’t (shouldn’t be) a week to week thing. It’s a beginning of the season referenced guide for who’s in line for various jobs. If there are some changes, great. But at least supply a depth chart. If the #1 is out with the virus, great, we get it, it doesn’t make a depth chart invalid. It’s a courtesy to the fans.

Post of the day!

I miss the gameday handouts ... I want one for this year...

Honestly, I've never looked at depth charts...ever. Usually I wait until after the game starts and grab the nearest person by the breast of their jacket, shake them vigorously, and ask why Joe McTackle isn't playing and Bart McBackup is in there.
