This from the Game Day Preview notice:

[INDENT][/INDENT]Reminder: If you have not purchased a season parking pass, you will need to park on the West Bank (21st or 19th Avenue Ramps) or St. Paul Campus (Gortner Ave. Ramp) and take the shuttle to the game. You will not be able to park at University lots/ramps on the East Bank.

The U can't extend event parking to the East Bank ramps in August?

The idea is to replicate a gameday scenario. And the EB lots are only open to those with season parking passes. That's why they won't be doing mock single game parking there.
