The game that is advertised on GopherSports.com as being on BTN, but will likely only be on All-Access.

Anybody know anything about CC? Looks like they only lost to Ole Miss by two.

Including this game, we have two games remaining before we take on Syracuse. Hopefully we can improve our free throw shooting, rebounding and limiting Mav's opportunities to dribble.

Should be a fun game since Coastal likes to play fast and will likely bust out a full court press.

I would have thought btn would like to advertise our new and different style of play to the rest of the b10 by having is on more.

In the words of Julia Roberts in the movie Pretty Woman to the snooty sales clerks, "Big mistake, Biiiiig mistake".

Dear god, Dre Mathieu during the race for that loose ball...

That kid is just uncannily fast.

Mathieu is the fastest player I can recall since Ty Lawson played for UNC.

Is it me or is Pitino trying on a new half court offense. They seem a bit lost so far this half. And I haven't seen them spend so much time before they try to strike for a basket.

I don't know if it's because he doesn't have to compete with Trevor & Rodney for playing time/posessions or if Pitino has been that beneficial, but Oto looks like a completely different player. Confident, aggressive, and smart. I like it.

Nobody is shooting the ball well besides Dre Hollins and we're giving them too many easy looks.

Credit to CC, they're driving and finishing well. We need to shore up our defense, but they're executing pretty effectively.

They're doing a nice job. That Wilson kid is a really good player and he's only a freshman.

This is a dogfight. Quality opponent by all indications.

Joey King got his bell rung and did not return. Oto got his knee bumped and did return.

I wonder if King will be available for the game on Thursday. Possible concussion?

Watching this thing on BTN Student U reminds me of AggieVision...

I've been very impressed by CCU. Obviously the Gophers haven't been brilliant in the game, but CCU has held tough.

Also, EE is the most frustrating player; and it has nothing to do with his play. Why is it that he always seems like he has no idea what to do with his hands? I've heard Brad Pitt has the same issue, and that's why he's always smoking, eating, or doing something else active with his hands while he's on screen.

Maybe EE should take up smoking during the games just so he looks more natural on the court.

So you want him to become the next Darko Milicic...

Gophers defense was awful tonight. The press is ineffective and putting players out of position. They need to be working on there M2M half court defense or we are going to see some ugly games this year.

I think we're going to see some real stinkers this year regardless during this transition period. We don't have a ton of talent to begin with and have to learn new offensive/defensive schemes. Andre Hollins will have to score 25 points a game to stay competitive. I'm just going to enjoy the ride this year and cherish the positives that come from it. Go Gophers!

I don't know if I would characterize it as awful all around. They did force 20 turnovers. They gave up too many open looks, but at the same time CC made some contested shots. It was a mixed bag but mostly bad.

I would, I think Pitino would as well. You can't give up that many high percentage looks. Their eFG% had to have been through the roof.

I think I'm crabby because the Wolves and Wild laid eggs tonight too. Bottom line they got some valuable film and the all important W.

Couldn't watch the game but I'm not surprised they had kind of a ****ty game. They played really well on the road at Richmond so I kind of had a feeling they'd come back to earth a bit against a directional school at home. Just glad we got the win.

Yeah, last nights game was not one to watch if you wanted to feel good about the B1G season.

I was glad to hear Coach Pitino express his disappointment with the level of play as well. Clearly he was not pleased with the energy and effort put out last night, but anyone who has played the game has experienced a game where the collective group struggled to have the energy to play well. In those cases you just have to fight through it and hope you are still good enough to win. That's what I saw last night. It was sloppy and ugly, but the kids fought through their own sluggishness and still found a way to win. Hopefully we get those types of games out of our system early in the season when we have opponents who won't be able to make us pay for it.

28 posts about a regular season game seems really low. Am I the only one thinking that not televising games is injuring fan support and excitement? I understand that in the past plenty of these games weren't televised, but when every other major sport is on TV every game, it can't be a good thing for the program to be on gophersports or not on anything at all.

Just a thought.
