Noticed this when reading the notes earlier this week:

"A win Saturday would also be Minnesota's fourth Big Ten win this year (would be first time since 2008 when it finished 4-4)."

Except the Gophers finished 3-5 in conference in 2008. The last time with 4 BT wins was 2005.

Does this have to do with OSU vacated wins?

Nope - Ohio State did not vacate any wins until 2010. Even if that were the case, I don't think it changes Minnesota's record. For example, Penn State's wins in 2009 were vacated, including the one over the Gophers, but Minnesota's record still shows 3-5.
