I see that the Gophers have now added another game at Oregon State in 2018. They travel there two years in a row. Was anyone aware of this?

My NCAA Football 2014 game has us playing Oregon St a lot. They almost always beat us the first time and then we take them after that.

Right now we play Oregon State here in 2016 and in Corvallis in 2018 and 2019. I can't imagine we're doing a two for one with a PAC-12 team, so my guess is there is a game at The Bank with the Beavers on a yet to be announced date in the 2020 or 2023. Right now we have Colorado on the slate in 2021 (in Boulder) and 2022 (here) which would all but guarantee we won't play Oregon State here in those seasons.

I guess it’s possible that we extended the Oregon State contract from two games to four, but I think it’s far more likely that this is a mistake on the future schedules page. Starting in 2016 we go to a nine game conference schedule with five conference road games in even numbered years. I can’t imagine that we’ll be going to Corvallis, or anywhere else, during the non-conference portion of the schedule those years since doing so would mean only six home games.

A quick correction to my past post. Instead of playing here 2016 and at Oregon State in 2018 and 2019, the home game is shown as being in 2016 and the apparent two road games as actually in 2017 and 2018 per GopherSports.com and FBSschedules.com.

Looking to further source the info, Minnesota Daily noted the 2018 game as new on the slate in an article from last fall. Tom Dienhart at BTN noted the games in 2017 and 2018 with the former game at home, but no game in 2016. Oregon State only has future schedules up to 2015 on it website, but has an old press release that puts the games in 2017 and 2018.
