funny Jay Paterno column

I really like Jay Paterno. His columns are usually a good read. Hey, maybe he'll come here if we fire Brew and Dungy says no...

Speaking of the elder Paterno, I was out Paso Robles, CA recently and I visited a winery called Eberle. It is part-owned and operated by a former Penn St football player from the sixties. I asked if Joe Paterno ever visits. The guy behind the bar said that he hadn't, and in fact he never leaves State Collego, PA out of for games.

I like #7, it sums up most of last years posts.

As a coach you realize that with one decision, you make one student-athlete the most scrutinized athlete on campus (the starter) and you make the other the most popular athlete on campus (the back-up).
