This game was lost at the FT line!

When will Tubby get these guys serious about making FT's????

They made 2 more FT's than we did on 7 less attempts.

Games like this are what keep the Gophers on the perpetual NCAA bubble.

Frankly, if I'm on the Tournament Committee I wouldn't vote for Minnesota getting in. Just an awful shooting team and no threat to go anywhere with this current crop of stone-hands.

It is very appalling how poorly this team shoots free throws. How can division one players be this bad? They are the biggest reason we lost the game. We should have lost the way we played, but the game was still within reach. It was lost at the free throw line.

Completely agree, this came back to haunt us, and the thing is it wasn't just the bigs. Armelin should be able to make one of two and Blake's missed two for the Technical killed.

Exactly ... even the good free throw shooters were having troubles. I don't know if it was those big heads the Indiana fans had, but that was a brutal FT shooting performance.

Hard to fault Blake too much in my mind. He's been pretty clutch with free throws the past few years. Time for some other guys to step up.

the problem is clear to me...Tubby doesn't demand better!

How do you know that? Tubby probably deserves some of the blame but it's impossible to know what he demands if you're not in practice and meetings.
