"I decided, 'I need to be more aggressive. We're down eight. We need to get some points on the board,'" Eliason said. "So I decided to try to attack a little more and do what I can to help my team out."

"After redshirting a year then stepping up last year when Ralph Sampson got hurt, he's really just continued to grow, continued to get stronger. But I'm sure he'll say he still has a long way to go," Smith said. "He's probably our best post defender. He's our best post passer and a very willing passer to give the ball up and keep the ball moving. He did exactly what we wanted to do (Tuesday), defend the post, move the ball and make the shots around the basket when he had an opportunity."

Go Gophers!!

I have no doubt Eazy E will be a solid starter for us next year. Now we just need to find that starting PF. I have confidence that someone will step up out of Buggs, Oto, Foster, Mo, and hopefully Schilling.

Love to see EE continue to develop, but when I heard Tubby say he was our best low post defender, I almost drove off the road. He might be a fine, but Trevor played shut down against Deshaun Thomas and Cody Zeller in the past two games (he only guarded Thomas in the first half I believe).
