Myron's comments about an Orlando Sentinnel article: "One thing that I’ll disagree with is listing the running backs as a “strength.” If you’re counting MarQueis Gray as a de facto running back in a zone read offense, then I’d agree; however, returning two average, non-explosive backs is hardly what I’d call a strength."

I give the LB's the nod here followed by the TE's led by Lair, Eurie and McGarry then the DT's close behind.

At this point the basic problem with the D is just the lack of a rush DE. We could be okay or better there with a pass rush.
The offense is a whole other story, it is basically going to depend on teams being scared enough of Gray's running to create opportunities for McKnight, Lair, Rabe, McGarry, Jones, and hopefully Gardener to get open. The really talented guys on the oline are all underclassmen, they won't dominate anyone decent this year, I'm just hoping they can keep Gray alive and well.

I agree Corc, the offense is going to be without many weapons.

One of the big keys is if our running game can just be OK. If it is bad and we are facing a ton of 3rd and longs, I don't see it being a very succesful season for our offense (or Gray). We just don't have the options for any QB to drop back on obvious passing situations very often and be super succesful.

That said, if we can get minimal improvements from our running game (avg 4.5 instead of 3.5), we will have a chance to be decent on offense.
