Nice & informative summary, Fringe. It's nice to here the positive takes on players like Alipate & Barker. As far as the rest of the "Can't buy me love" cast, hopefully they step it up come fall.

Fringe might be getting the call from KFAN soon to be the Golden Time of day voice.
 



No kidding...this guy does 10x the work of the guys at the Strib, and is likely 100x as knowledgeable about Gopher football. Shame he isn't getting paid to do it.
 

Thanks to whoever first provided a link to the "fringe" site from here. I'm loving this guy. Great information and (for the anal-retentive grammar fascists like me) well-written.
 

Mondays and Fridays the first thing I do at work is jump onto the FBT site as he seems to update specifically on those days (and periodically during the week). The man certianly knows his stats info (see the entry 'Gopher QB breakdown') and recruiting. But this spring update has been the best spring report I've seen anywhere.

Side note, not having heard much about AJ Barker before I'm excited to see the kids game.
 

MV's always done work like this and more over on GI. Great that others are finally starting to see it. I encourage people to sign up and drop a comment or 2 as it can get hard blogging if you don't know people are reading it

MV lives for this! I used to think I knew about Gopher recruits & recruiting until he came to a few tailgates, the guy erupts like a volcano with Gopher info.
 

MV has good stuff. Now if he could only golf...
 

He definitely does his homework and provides insight that you can't find anywhere else...which is sad since there are two beat reporters in this town who should be providing this type of info.

well, if he is smart he will wait for a call from ESPN 1500 Twin Cities. KFAN is a joke and a sinking ship that will not be along much longer. KFAN will not get the vikings again the next time their contract comes up. and without the vikes KFAN is toast. i will be holding a celebratory party on that day.
 

He seems high on A.J. Barker, it sounds like he could be the next Ben Kuznia.
