I'm sure it's an absolutely wild atmosphere to be in... Kidding aside I figured some other G-Holers would be staying in CR on Friday night and was wondering if there was a bar that may have other gopher fans in attendance? Always good to see friendly faces.

Personally, I would try to find a house party. You're gonna have more fun, get way more drunk and definitely have a better shot at getting laid.

I think Creative Charter is spending the night in CR. Should be many Gopher fans in the area.

I'm staying in Cedar Rapids Friday. I will be looking for some Templeton Rye and a good place to eat.

We stayed in CR in 2009 and it was fine. We happened to be at the same hotel as the Iowa football team. We're planning to stay there again. I'm a pretty low key guy and there are a few decent local watering holes to spend the evening.
