I didn't watch gameday this morning but found this interesting. To claim there is no bias at all is ridiculous. I'm not sure how accurate this is but I wouldn't doubt if it is true. Someone posted how long they talked about each conference during today's show:

SEC - 1:02:09
B12 - 15:19
B10 - 15:59
ACC - 0:43
PAC12 - 10:57
Division III - 5:00
Ivy League - 1:08

Of course the SEC is the best and should get more time than any other conference. But more than every other conference combined?

Someone should do this same thing when a different conference hosts game day. I'm sure it'd still be pretty bad, but it'd be nice to know.

Time per Top 10 (AP) team in each league:

SEC - 12:26 (#1, 3, 4, 5, 9)
B12 - 15:19 (#10)
B10 - 15:59 (#8)
ACC - 0:43 (#2 Florida State has a bye)
PAC12 - 10:57 (#6)

DIII and Ivy have no top 10 teams

Seems fair.

If that is the criteria, then they should call it "The Top 10 Show". It should be more about the playoffs. Any power five team in the top 20 with 0 or 1 losses has a realistic shot at the playoffs. So if you use that:

SEC - 12:26 (#1, 3, 4, 5, 9)
B12 - 5:06 (#10, 11, 12)
B10 - 5:33 (#8, 13, 16)
ACC - 0:43 (#2 Florida State has a bye)
PAC12 - 2:44 (#6, 14, 15, 19)

Utah at #19 is probably the only one that is an extremely long shot. Everyone else listed there still has a shot if they win out.

How bout Ole Miss? They're world beaters. Wisconsin almost beat LSU. Did every bit as good as Ole Miss, and without a QB. SEC baby!

It doesn't get any more obvious than this:

LSU beats Ole Miss, LSU moves up 8 spots in the rankings while Ole Miss drops just 4.

Utah beats USC. Utah moves up 1 spot while USC moves down 7 spots.

When things like this continue to happen, it's easy to get a lot of teams way at the top. I'm interested in seeing if TCU moves ahead of Georgia if they beat West Virginia and Kansas St. the next two weeks. The SEC east is terrible.
