"I'll be honest with you, Nebraska has not been my favorite team," said Dickson, 73, who is retired and living in Sanibel, Fla.

Dickson, who is from Clairton, Pa., said his younger brother, Joe, was cut by Nebraska when the Cornhuskers brought in 100 recruits for 40 scholarships.

"I have a lot of bad feelings about Nebraska. There's nobody I like beating more than them," Dickson said. "I was recruited by Nebraska and treated very badly. The only reason I visited them in the first place was because my mother said I had to because my brother was there. But I think they've cleaned house since then.

"I'm happy as hell about this one. This shows our Gophers team is a tough team because Nebraska always plays tough. This is one of Minnesota's biggest wins in years."

Go Gophers!!

I like that this guy has held on to his anger for fifty years. I hope that I'm just as pissed in 40 years as I was about 9/11, when it happened.
