Former Gopher having a good year

I was thinking about Alex Daniels this morning. As a Senior on the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats he currently has 61 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. The Bearcats are currently number 5 in the BCS poll. I, for one, am happy that he was able to salvage some of his college career and hope that he can continue to improve his life.

I watched Daniels against South Florida and was not impressed. He is built like a ton of bricks but it ends there. At best he would just be another DE on our team. He has no speed on the edge, had difficulty seperating himself from the blockers and put very little pressure on the qB. His strength was pursuit. He played about 75% if the playes.
