Former Cretin star Seantrell Henderson suspended 10 games for substance abuse

He's screwed now, but I bet that the next time the CBA comes up, there won't be testing for marijuana.

He's appeared in 1 game this year. Crazy he is only 24 years old.

The thing that sucks is he isn't smoking dope to get high (not that I have a problem with that) he is using medicine derived from a plant that grows naturally in the wild. If he had a broken leg and was given morphine he wouldn't be punished but he is for this. Stupid waste of time and energy.

Is a physician prescribing the marijuana? Is it from a medicinal supplier? NY has a medical marijuana law, if he doesn't meet the qualifications it's on him.

Relevance to Gopher sports? Who is this guy?

Doesn't matter...this is a collective bargaining issue regardless of legality in NY or wherever.

Not a doctor here. Isnt there medication for his disease that isnt pot?. Many people have it and I am assuming that they are able to get/afford medication so one would assume he is also.

Yes, and it's usually opiates. Family member had Crohn's. The drugs help with the pain, which can be debilitating at times, and help slow down digestive tract.

He's in a no-win situation.

I know a couple of people with Crohn's. I'm surprised Henderson is able to maintain his weight where it is with Crohn's. PMWinSTP makes the pertinent point here. If opiates are prescribed to deal with the disease, aren't they significantly worse than marijuana in terms of addiction?

PS--Why would anyone call Henderson a piece of sh*t?
