We blow tonight, UVa is shooting lights out, we're without our best perimeter defender, and we're probably a wee bit overrated after beating a UNC team that no one knows how good they'll be this year.

That said, these guys need to get their heads out of their rears. Virginia is not a good team, and getting shelled like this at home is ... well ... bad. :cry:
 

Pretty weird foul situation. But the chemistry definitely seems off. The lack of defensive effort in the first half was puzzling . (I mean guys guarding guys) I certainly didn't expect this but the game isn't over yet. Yet....yet.

There was a huge swing when UVa decided to turn up the defensive intensity on their end. Meanwhile, we didn't turn up the D until there were 4 minutes left in the game. = LOSE
 


Virginia could do no wrong in the last 5 minutes otherwise we win that game. Saw Blake get laid out at one point and no call. What was that about? I know it goes both ways but generally if someone ends up on the floor there is a foul. Saw another one on a Virginia fast break where our guy got shoved from behind and didn't get a call. Not trying to nit pick calls but it sure seemed like everything went Virginia's way and nothing went ours at the end. Poor shot selection played a huge part in the loss.

The refs were wildly inconsistent. One play they'd call a touch foul, then someone gets tackled and no call. Then no call on a touch and on and on.

Not saying it benefited one team or another, we missed a LOT of FT's, but it was very inconsistent and I know that is tough on players never knowing if what you do will get a foul called or not.
