Partnering with Nashville-based experiential design firm Advent, this campus within a campus concept consists of four primary areas: the Land O'Lakes Center for Excellence, the David and Janis Larson Football Performance Center, the Indoor Practice Facility and the Charlie and Kathy Cunningham Basketball Development Center.
The spaces strike a balance between honoring the history of Gopher athletics motivating current student athletes to strive for academic excellence and service to their community.
For example, the Football Performance Center tells the story of each of the Gopher's seven national titles in addition to its four rivalry trophy games. Meanwhile, cutting edge technology in the form of a projection-mapped digital display allows head coach P.J. Fleck and his staff to display a variety of messages reinforcing the program's culture.
The latest technology is used throughout the Athletes Village. The Hall of Fame includes a Gameday Experience room with two screens -- one at 2,754 x 10x0 pixels and another at 2,592 x 1080 pixels -- eight speakers and two subwoofers.
