The Gophers consistent runs on Michigan St. tonight have come when there has been any combination of Hoff, Mav, Chip, or Hollins playing the 1, 2, and 3.
They provide a much more athletic backcourt on defense (and make the 2/3 zone much more effective). On offensive, they allow Blake to move around more without having to dribble on top of the key the entire possession.
The problem of course is that 3 of these 4 still are freshmen - and it shows. I am fine utilizing the 3 bigs at different points in the game, but this can't be our base squad.
